My opinion on blogging

Well, at first when we got this exercise to make a blog and every week write a post was not interesting for me. But after yes. I don't like to write about what we must to write, because sometime we got a topic which isn't interested me and then I don't know what could I write. I think this is a good practise the English language, but I worried because I make a lot of mistakes in my writing and it is unconfused so everyone could see my mistakes...

   I am writing to ask for more information about the ’ diving course in the Red Sea ’ which I saw advertised on your webpage. My friend and I are both high school students. We are interested in the diving holiday but I would like some more details.

   Firstly, I would like to know more about the accomodation. Could you tell me more about it? Do you think I could share the room with my friend? What sort of accommodation do you provide?

   Secondly, I am slightly worried as I have never been on a diving course. Could you possibly tell me about the shark threat? What could we do if we saw a shark? I would also be grateful if you could give me information about the equipment? I would like to know where could I obtain it and how long stay we in the water. I would like to reserve a place, provided that the safety of the course can be guaranteed.

   Thirdly, could you please tell me what is included in the price. Could you give me more information about the flights? I would like to fly from Budapest, if possible.

Valentine’s day

The day of love is at 14th of february. For them who is in love that is the nice feast. They can show each other how they love. They make programmes together. That is one day, and who is sweetie not only this day loves his/her flame, but it is a symbol to show each other how much they love. Now I have a boyfriend and this year was unforgettable the Valentine’s day, but when I haven’t got, this was only a simple day.

Smoking

     I think, that everybody had seen a cigarette and I musn’t have to demonostrate. In the box of cigarette is written: smoking kills. Why is it in the box? At the one leght is the burn zone it is 1000°C, where we light the cigarette, here arose the smoke, with cigarette stub like a 2l smoke. The other leght is the filter. The smoke 1/3 strain the filter and because of that 1/9 smoke get into the smoker and 2/3 inspire to the environment.

    On the one hand the cigarette is harmful. It bring on a many disease. Despite knowing the dangers, many people still smoke.  For example lung cancer, laryngeal cancer, throat cancer, infartus, stroke, oral cancer, gum disease, spontaneous abortion, accelerates the aging process, yellow fingers, scruffy yellow teeth etc. Everyone who live in the smoky environment is passive smoker. Althoug we know, that the smoking is expensive we use it. If we don’t smoke, we will spare x amount of money for the other activities such as swimming, sport, family. Who smoke quickly get tired.

    Why the smoking is so popular? On the other hand many people and teenagers like it, because of the aroma of smoke, they can blow smoke rings, they feel after fresher but especially due to the company’s. It is difficult to refuse the cigarette when someone offers you. If someone feels nervous, burns a cigarette and it increasse the happiness hormone, love hormone. After that she is satisfied and calm.

    No cigarette is harmless. All things cosidered, we are responsible for our health. We must decided how many years we will live, and will we want to see how growing up our grandchild. 

A letter of Application

Dear Sir/Madam,

    I am writing in connection with the appeal in today’s poverty. According to the appeal, you are looking for volunteers to help children who have a bad life. Although I am not a professional, I would like to volunteer.

     I am 17-year-old student. My mum is a teacher in our town. I very love children and one day I went with her to check out her class. I love to play with them, help when someting they do not understand. Last year I was at one camp where were many children whom had to take care of and deal with them. Children also love me. At mum’s class was one boy, who has not got a winter jacket, however outside was very cold. I asked my mum why is that? She told me his life. He has an older brother who is visionless and his treat of is very expensive. Sometimes the little boy can not come to school, can not read, draw because his mum must to look after his another son and has not got time his smaller son.

       Due to pro my school learning, I could deal with him. I could every day keep him to school and afrer school play with him. I do not know if I have any of the specialised skills that you need. I think I could help him in learning. Such as reading, counting, drawing because he has a very baby’s drawing. In addition, I could also do some housework.

        To sum up, I would be very happy if I can be of some help. I would be grateful if you could send me futher details. I could provide referencesif these are needed.

A book review

The two Lotte

The two Lotte was written by Erich Kastner. It is set in 1949. At first it was scandalous, because at that time it wasn’t usual to discuss divorce. Children know and love his works. It won the best screen-play prise in 1951.

Who does not want a twin? A sister who looks the same. This novel is based on a story about a pretty pair of twins, who are separated from each other, because their parents get divorced. Both of them go to the same camp-site, where they met each other. Luise is on a vacation their with her friends, when the bus arrives. From the bus comes down a girl looking just the same as Luise. The governesses schoked, when saw them. Only their hair was different. First Luise and their friend wanted to excommunicate the new girl, Lotte. After Luise realizes, that in they life have something in common, she has only a father, Lotte has only a mother. The story starts after they have noticed that they are twins. They wanted to change each other. That their parents has not recognize that they are not who was before, they must learn about everything from each other. Lotte has gone to Vienna to get acquainted with her father, Luise has gone to Munich for her mother. The parents do not notice the change. Their father beginnes to compose a new opera for children and he gives piano lessons to her daughter. Love between Ms Gerlach and her father flare up the love. Lotte went to Gerlach hause and said her to let alone her father but she throws out Lotte, and Lotte gets sick. Immediately their mother was working in editorial office she saw the picture about the girls which has made in camp. Luise avow everything, they were going to Vienna, Lotte feels better and in the end the parents make it up with each other and become a family again.

The film is very realistic in the way that it shows us the family where the parents are divorced and what feelings have than their children have. Both parents are important for childrens. It is about the  everyday life. When we met a person in our life who looks like the same as us, at the first we ail, after admit to that it is not bad.

All things considered, The two Lotte is a real masterpiece book for childrens. It speaks to childrens. When my mother was a child the fashion was thise dotted books and she told me about them. I have read most of  thise dotted books, but this was the best. 

A letter of Complaint

Dear Sir/Madam,

    I am writing to you about a swimming pool which I bought from Shop Mania on 16 June 2012 for $9.990. I enclose copies of the guarantee and the receipt.

     In your advertising, you claim that by using the filter, the water would be clean. We have been using the filter and now it seems as though the water hadn’t changed, moreover, it has become dirtier.

     The foil is also badly worked. It tears after a heavy rain and it’s ruined. We have to release the water and fill it again the next day since it was full of leaves. We were so worried because we were having a party the next day and the water was filthy. We were working so quickly as we had only 5 hours to drain the water and then fill the pool again. We had finished all just as the guests came.

     When I took the filter back to the shop, not only did the assistant refuse to refund my money, but she also said that it was my fault and I didn’t read the instructions carefully.

    I would like you to refund my money as soon as possible. Unless I receive a satisfactory reply, I will write to the Consumer Association.

Dear Madam,
    I have just read the article which you have sent for me tonight. I am writing to ask for more information about the 'it's a student life' by English in Action writer, James Faraday. Where have you found this? It has really dissapointed me so I would like to say something about it.
    Firstly, I must say that the real truth is somewhere elese, because there are students who have a part-time job when they don't learn. They help their parents when they are at home or look for another jobpossibility in order to earn more money. They would able, of course, to say something about the value of the money they earn.
    Secondly, I am slightly persuade as many of students are learning to get good marks, because if the grade point average is good they may obtain a scholarship. If they get a scholarship it's a great help for their parents.
    Thirdly, it isn't true that student do nothing, that they are lazy, they inly sit around all day listening to CD's and spending their parents' hard-eared money. It's just partly true. If they spend money buying things that are not important that's the problem but if they buy what is really necessary, than it's ok. They are students and must have free time when they can do whatever they want.

A Film Review

Pitch Perfect

It is directed by Jason Moore. The story begins with vomiting, and after that we are wondering about what could happen next in the film? In truth, there are many good things that happen, that we aren’t expecting. The Pitch Perfect is very clever and original, but the film follows the musical model. It tells the story of Beca (played by Anna Kendrich), an aspiring DJ attending Barden University, whose hobbies include nonconforming and listening to the Mashups. She has a tiff with the world, but in the a cappella singing group, she finds real friends. 

Not only does the scenery make it trendy, but the story is also wittily built up. The main character is a Hollywood actress with the whitest teeth. Another character is Amy, who is an energetic fat girl. In the plot, there is also a great guy. The film includes all the elements for a perfect scenario. It dominates with a perfect accord. There are a lot of songs. The plot is very dynamic, and it has a lot of modern things. The cinemas could play modern plots, which would be amusing for the viewers. I think if the cinema took in modern elements, it would get more viewers. People would watch the films together with other people at the cinema, and not at home. In my opinion, if cinemas want to convince people that it is better to go to cinemas than to watch the film at home, the cinemas need renovations. I mean that they should remodel, to make it more comfortable. It means that there would not be the well-known set up,but put foam where the seat is. Now it would be much more like home. Maybe the cinemas would bring more viewers with these renovations.

My alter ego

When I was a litter girl I was always dreaming to become a model. My grandfather teached me how the models walk. He puts on my head a heavy book and I must walk along the line strongly straight. If I deflect a bit I must resume from the beggining. This was challenge for me and now I walk and sit straight. :) but when I grow up it quails because I run for. Everyone said me that it be worth one tryout, because I have nothing lost, but I have no willpower...

Another wish is to know playing on a piano. To become the best piano player. I've said that when I ended the grammar-school I start learning :)

The bad life of Dorian Gray had ended

Basil asked his friend about the picture, because he wanted to take it on the exhibitation. Dorian didn't want to give him then Basil showed him the reality about the picture and after Dorian killed Brazil. After that Dorian leaves the city and goes to London. When he comes from London everyone becomes alt expecting him.  

After Dorian Gray have realised that who people he has become, he wish to change. He got up in the attic to see his portrait. Standing in front of the picture he has became very nervous. He had the knife stick in the picture, and it seems that how he ruins the picture his blood out and he has dead after that.

When I have found him, I have a bit afraid of the aspect, but after that I have realised that it has in this way happen. He was worse and he deserved the death.

Everyone who was walking out there has a particular seeing.

Spending a holiday with my parents

I went on a holiday with my parents until the age of 15. We often went to the mountains or visited some new towns or cityes. We have never went to the seaside. My dream was always to go to the seaside, but my parents didn’t want. After I have finished the primary school I went alone or with my friends on a holiday.

On the one hand when I went with my parents on a holiday was so wonderful. Then we were only us four, my brother, my father, my mum and I. We traveled with the car. If the trip was so lang we stopped to relax a bit. In the car we were singing or speaking a lot. They were with us, and everything was guaranteed for us, we didn’t have to worried. We did everything together. This was the holiday and we could spare more time together, because when the school holds, we didn’t have so many time for each other and on the holiday we could make up.

On the other hand it was nice when we were small, because now we have friends and we want to go on a holiday, spendig time with them. Go on festivales, go camping and go out a lot. :D At the age of 18 the friends are major then the parents. We shove of from our parents...

In my opinion that is normal. When we are small then our parents would look to us, give a lot of love and instruction. And after we must learn how to leg up alone...

A Description of an Event

Zlatibor

   I like winter very much when everything is snowy. Therefore I was very happy when our teacher said to our class ( when we were in grade 6) that the school was organizing a winter holiday in Zlatibor.

   It all started with a long and exhauting bus journey on a Saturday morning. When we arrived the wether was beautiful and sunny, but while we were getting out of the bus we felt the freezing wind blowing into our faces. We are staying in some old houses in the valley. There were high and thickly forested mountains around us. An amazingly beautiful sight.

   In the morning we went skiing. At the begining I was a bit afraid- it was terribly difficult to balance on the skis. Some time later I was bravely skiing in the snow. Once I was going extremely fast down the slope and I collided with one of my girlfriends. Luckely, we didn’t hurt ourselves. Everybody was laughing at us. In the afternoon we went for a walk in a park which had a lake in the middle. The days passed incredibily quickly. In the end it was time to go home. When we woke up it was foggy and rainy. I hated the weather, but I tired to think about my warm room waiting only for me...

   All in all, it was one of my beautiful holidays. I learnt to skii, but I’m still not an expert. I really like Zlatibor because of its admirable land and fresh, clean air. I’ve been there many times, all seasons and I have not got fed up.

The death penalty and hard sentences

   In the last few years, crime has been going up. The most common crimes are causing fatal accident, infant abuse, drugs, violence, shoplifting. The consumption of drugs has risen. Because of this, there has been an increase in violent crime. I’d like to share some of my views which I read.

  On the one hand, it is really scandalous that some drug dealers and rapists are let out of prisons after a three or five years. As a result of this, many people are losing faith in the system of justice. According to them, we should bring back harder sentences so that criminals are made to pay for what they have done. It is also somehow wrong that the death penalty had abolished because it have to recover the death penalty for those who kill people. The three-five years when they will have arrested is not so much, it couldn’t have deterrent power.

  On the other hand, sitting in prison years we could lose the connection with the outside, and also with family. Many of the repeaters of crime long to go back just because there they shouldn’t have to make a personal decision. The same as that they work in a prison but the professional learning they rarely apply in free life.

  All things considered, I belive that the death penalty is important for those who do the some, but it maybe just a way for member of the family to forget it easier. The other punishments are enough three-five years because if they will arrest, their life wouldn’t be the same like before.

Coca-Cola's sugar problem

Coca cola came out on Monday night. It contains a lot of sugar, and because of that many people are obese. Inhere are over a numbre of damaging and addictive substances- caffaine, sugar, teeth-rotting acids and cocaine. The excessive sugar is more liable to make massive rise in recent decades of diabetes, heart problems and concer. Sugared drinks is coming like a new tobacco. The biggest problem for societal intervention that alcohol and tobacco meet- said Robert Lustig professor. He and his fellow scientists wrote in Nature magazine. They want well-being and healthy life so that they take for intance bans on smoking in public places the use of designated drivers, not to mention airbags in cars and condom dispensers in public bathrooms.

Personal Highlights of 2012

I very love travelling and meeting new people. At sommer’s holiday I always go somewhere. I was a lot of places but at Taize was the most memorable. My cousin had told about it, and last year I decided to go. I really wait the date when the tour starting, but when we arrived Zrenjnin I shied, because there were a lot children and I know only my cousin. We get on bus and we leave for the first station which was Punta Sabbioni. There we wait for a ship which drop us off at Venice. Venice was so enigmatical, because there were narrow streets and we have very easy to get lost. We always go in groups and pay attention to each other. The next day we arrived to Taize. There I saw so many people which I had never seen before. We get our rooms and we move in. We spent in Taize one week. We must to go daily thrice prayer-meeting, but this was beautiful, not like here.

We had a group and we get topic which we had to discuss.

At spare time we speak with each other, played games, went for a walk or just lying in grass and enjoyed the nature.

For me was interesting eating. We get mealtime and the food dole out we. There were seven string and everyone get successively own food.

At night we have entertainment. There were groups of countries and jam together.

When elapsed a week we make up and go home. The tour to home was two day. We stop two city. First at Strassbourg, but the weather was rainy so we had seen not a very lot. In the afternoon the weather was sunny when we arrive to Prague. There we have a lof time, we do what we want. We are going to shopping and worthing at buildings which were arresting and tawdry. Rapidly sated the time and we have to looking forward our bus. We traveld night but hadn’t sleep a lot. We sang songs, played cards and resuscitate the memoreble moments about the week when we were together. J 

 

My ideal NYE celebration

Once I want to celebrate my NY in the USA, because I was there in 2009 in summer. The life there is more difficult (beause of danger) but very nice. We had visited so many places in the one month when we were there. Sometimes I just take a sit and watch the photos which were taken in the USA. This time was a most memorable holiday in my life. And I want to go there to celebrate a NY, because this can be not a same like here. There we could wear expensive and elegant clothes and the place where we celebrate could be an dreamy place.

World Event Highlights 2012 

End of the world...

At us have been spreading the prediction: 2012. December 21, come to the end of the world. Bulletin of the main argument is that the Mayan calendar ends then, and after that nothing happens.

„I do not want to die!” „I couldn’t believe in it, but now I more and more scared.” There were so many sentences like this, because of the predition about end of the world. Doomsday rumors were so zappy and many of us believed in it, because they cann’t deny.

Prophesy about the world will end today is that, the mysterious planet called Nibiru approaches the Earth (none has the Mayans suggested). The Nibiru stops the rotation of the Earth, replacing the magnetic poles, moreover "a few weeks" mybe eliminates orbit of the Sun. Therefore, worldwide earthquakes, tsunamis attack, which destroyed the human race.

This seemed impossible for me, because the world couldn’t ends like this. Not one day created the world so one day doesn’t engough for the end, but it was a great sensation, because everyone was talking about it, put out post on Facebook. Kernel of the media is that everyone talking about it and they had reached that.

It’s a mistery...

I’d love to know how animals understand what people say?

I had asked it for our classmates. They said that animals don’t understand what we said, only about our  mimicry, behaviour... and they were in right, because at home I had searching on the internet and I had faund the answer to the question. They are characterized by simple form of communication: chemical signals-pheromone communication within species, light-fire-fly glimmering assign the bug, electrical signals-electric eel informed by electrical pulses, communicate with other eels, with strong shock expelled, stupefy or kill the enemy, color-sepia females attract, stupefy the enemy, attitude, mien, gesture. J

Could we taught the animals for the language? Yes. There are some animals who know speak or other people’ gesture. Here is one example, Alex, who is a Grey Parrot and she use the English language, request, reject. :D

Have you any idea why girls see more color than boys?

Gils say that it is because they are intelligent :P men are more sensitive to motion and detail of things, but women better perceived of colors. The City University of New York magazine in the Biology of Sex Differences in published research shows that these differences are due to the male hormone, particularly in testosterone.

I’ve always wondered how many stars there are in the sky?

We had discussed, that it is uncountable, because every day born and die stars. But I had found the answer!!! J Forty Million Star "registry" in the latest sky survey program in the APASS, which was initiated by the American Association of Variable Star detection (AAVSO) - read on Space.com Space news site.

Spring

Spring begins on 21 of  March, but this year „spring is sleeping.” On 25 of March was snowing and the weather was cold.

For me spring is very important, because I was born in spring. Spring is an ideal season to celebrate a birthday party. We could do everything outdoors. When we wanted to relax, we go out and just lying on the grass and hearing how the birds are singing. That is very pleasant. At spring everyone is sweet. We could wear easier clothes, not so much and warms wherein we could do nothing. Seeing the coloreful nature is so beautiful...

I really like spring. For me that is the best season. The sommer is hot, the winter is cold, autumn is rainy and spring... spring is masterful! 

Success is..

Many things would be a success. Success for everyone is other. Success would be a very littel thing what make you happy. Success is if you cheat  a smile on sad man's face. Success is if you still in a debate stay polite and heat.For me success is when I am happy. When I'm happy I'll do everything. Then I get better marks at school, I'm kind with other people, I'll help.. then the world is more colorful.
