A letter of Complaint
Dear Sir/Madam,
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you about a swimming
pool which I bought from Shop Mania on 16 June 2012 for $9.990. I enclose
copies of the guarantee and the receipt.
In your advertising, you claim
that by using the filter, the water would be clean. We have been using the
filter and now it seems as though the water hadn’t changed, moreover, it has
become dirtier.
The foil is also badly worked. It
tears after a heavy rain and it’s ruined. We have to release the water and fill
it again the next day since it was full of leaves. We were so worried because
we were having a party the next day and the water was filthy. We were working
so quickly as we had only 5 hours to drain the water and then fill the pool
again. We had finished all just as the guests came.
When I took the filter back to
the shop, not only did the assistant refuse to refund my money, but she also
said that it was my fault and I didn’t read the instructions carefully.
I would like you to refund my money
as soon as possible. Unless I receive a satisfactory reply, I will write to the
Consumer Association.
